Chamberlain's Page
The Chamberlain stores and keeps track of items belonging to the barony.
Autocrats and Cooks should contact the
Chamberlain about using baronial
items for events.
Inventory of Settmour Equipment (as of December 2005)
How to request equipment for events:
You can
- print out the list, highlight what you want, write the quantity you need next to the item, and send the list to the chamberlain via US mail.
OR
- edit the list, deleting the parts you don't want, change the quantities for the items you do, and email the list to the chamberlain.
OR
- call her on the phone for last minute items. She
will call back to confirm she got the message.
The chamberlain will only provide the items you ask for. Please include any extra bowls, pitchers, etc.
that you will need for feast preparation.
Don't be shy when asking for pots and pans -- they nest easily for packing.
Rules about using Kitchen equipment:
- The Cook agrees to careful and conscientious use of equipment.
- The Cook is responsible for picking up equipment. Arrangements should be
made with the Chamberlain at least 30 days in advance.
- The Cook is responsible for the prompt return of borrowed equipment. All
equipment must be CLEAN and DRY.
- Include disposables in your budget. If you need 25 steam table pans, you will need to buy them.
Exception: the chamberlain will provide cleaning supplies, so you need not budget for them.
- Do not leave food items on site for the
chamberlain to pack up. She does not have room in the truck for
leftovers or refuse.
